- Inspect seal with each use and replace if damaged or worn. These are available for sale individually on this website.
- Always follow instructions on label for opening and closing lid. Click here for instructions.
- Inspect body of Can for impact damage or dents that may cause fracture of internal enamel lining. A split in the internal lining will allow the underlying steel to be exposed and oxidation could occur.
- Always filter fuel being poured into fuel tanks to minimise risk of contaminants entering tank. Most Pro Quip Metal Jerry Can Pourers have built in filter mesh.
- Always store the Can in a cool, well ventilated area, away from direct sunlight.
- This Can should Never be used near open flames.
- Not designed for the storage of water.
- External powder coat should be inspected for scratches or exposed areas which can allow the appearance of spot rust. Clean away and touch up paint as necessary for longevity.
