Plastic Fuel Cans Safe-T-Pour
- You must read and understand the Poison and Mandatory Safety Warnings information which is moulded onto the side of the Can prior to use.
- Nitrile Seal must be seated in correct position around Pourer Lip. If dislodged or incorrectly positioned the Can may leak from this location. Click to see correct positioning diagram here.
- Always transport the Can upright and ensure it is secured during travel. We recommend the use of the Can Caddy. Click to view Can Caddy.
- The plastic pourer included with the Can is designed to be flexible in order to direct the flow of liquid. It is not designed as a fulcrum to bear the weight of the liquid within the Can during pouring.
- The Safe-T-Pour Insert reduces the risk of fire flash back by restricting the spread of the flame in cases of ignition at the point of filling.
- Even with the Safe-T-Pour feature, this Can should Never be used near open flames. Â
- Inspect the Nitrile Seal with each use and replace if it is damaged or worn. These are available for sale individually on this website.
- Always store the Can in a cool, well ventilated area, away from direct sunlight.
- Always keep the Can on the ground when filling from a Fuel Bowser.
- Do not fill past the Nominated Fill Line found on the back of the Can.
- Caps and parts are not interchangeable with pieces from other brands of Fuel Can. The use of which could cause potentially dangerous situations with storage and transfer of fuels.
